FARRAH KARAPETIAN, Advisory Board Member, is an artist based in Los Angeles. In her practice, she locates photographic imagery in the urban landscape and reconfigures it within the sculptural field. Karapetian holds a BA from Yale (2000) and an MFA from UCLA (2008.) She has worked with space and photography internationally, including most recently an atrium designed by Richard Meier & Partners and a residency with the Los Angeles-based Wende Museum and Archive of the Cold War.

MITCH MCEWEN, Director and Founder of SUPERFRONT, is an urban designer, curator, and definitely not-an-architect. She is principal of A. Conglomerate, based out of Brooklyn. Her design work has been published in Architectural Record and her articles in African-American studies have been published in Souls: A Critical Journal of Black Politics, Culture and Society (IRAAS, Columbia University, 2007, 2009).  After receiving the M.Arch degree from Columbia’s Graduate School of Architecture, Preservation and Planning (GSAPP) in 2006, she was invited to join the adjunct faculty of GSAPP as Adjunct Assistant Professor to create a new cross-disciplinary course for urban planners and urban designers.  Since founding SUPERFRONT in January 2008, she has curated more than a dozen exhibits and published 4 architectural catalogs, working with artists, historians, and architects from New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, Madrid and elsewhere.    She holds an M. Arch from Columbia GSAPP and A.B. from Harvard.

RAYNALD PELLETIER, Intern, has recently graduated from Woodbury University with a bachelors of Architecture in a NAAB accredited program. During that time, his interests have spread into a variety of design fields including photography, furniture, toy, and especially web design which led to providing marketing assistance to certain green businesses. Currently, Raynald freelances for the Office of Cultural Design and other boutique design firms in and around Los Angeles as well as assisting in art installations most recently being the Mock-Ups exhibition in Hollywood.
